Giacomo is Baptized

Happy Easter! We had Giacomo baptized at Faith Methodist Church in Port Clinton, OH this weekend while we were at my parents. It was a simple blessing that took place during the Easter service on Sunday morning. The Methodist church does not require god parents so we did not choose any for Giacomo.

I told my Dad that I would have Giacomo baptized before he turned six months. Giacomo turned six months on Sunday. I have had a difficult time finding a church near me where I wanted to get him baptized. I have been to all kinds of churches. I should have started my search before Giacomo was born.

We also spent Easter with more snow than we had during Christmas. Some areas around Cleveland received over 2-feet of snow. We only had a couple of inches at our house and my parents had a dusting. The snow, unfortunately, made travel this weekend very treacherous.
