Look, Everyone, I found my thumb

Sorry that is has been so long since I have posted anything. I started back at work full time and we having been dealing with some family concerns. It's been a busy few weeks. Work is going well. I am still trying to work out my schedule and convince my team that I can still do my job while working at home two days. My boss has been very supportive so it really helps. We'll get it worked out.


Giacomo is a big sucker, as you would know if you have been reading our blog. We have just been waiting for him to find his thumb. He has found it by accident multiple times when he is shoving his whole hand in his mouth. This weekend he has started consciously putting his thumb directly in his mouth and sucking. Actually, he seems to be doing more chewing than sucking. We think that maybe he is getting a tooth because of all of the chewing and drooling he has been doing lately. He will be four months next weekend so a tooth would be two or three months premature. We'll see. Anyway, he still seems to prefer his pacifier for naps and bedtime. We are interested to see if the thumb slowly takes its place.
